Long before it was Kent Island Resort, the Manor House stood at the heart of an estate called Smithfield. Its earliest section dates to the 1820s; later, travelers came to know it as Kent Manor Inn, a place to spend the night, share a meal and return to the water’s edge.
After VIVÂMEE Hospitality acquired the property in 2020, renovations gave the Manor House a new chapter while keeping its historic character. Today, a morning might begin with coffee and a walk through the grounds. The afternoon is yours to explore the waterfront or stay a little longer over the view.
No two stays feel quite the same at Kent Island Resort. Choose from 24 individually furnished rooms and suites in the historic Manor House, each with its own character and comforts. Whether you’re here for a quiet getaway or a wedding weekend, find a space to settle into and call your own.
